The Guangzhou Xinhai Revolution Memorial Hall, which took ten years to build, has a total construction area of 18,000 square meters, including an exhibition area of 13,200 square meters and a collection storage area of 1,000 square meters. The main functional layout includes exhibition area, collection storage area, technical and business rooms, audience services and supporting facilities. The total investment in the memorial hall project was 319.36 million yuan, and 6,602 pieces (sets) of cultural relics were successfully acquired. In the memorial hall, bronze statues of Zou Rong, Lu Haodong, Jiang Yiwu, Qiu Jin, Cai Yuanpei, Zhang Binglin, Zhu Zhixin, Liao Zhongkai, Song Jiaoren, Huang Xing, Sun Yat-sen and Pang Yi, the pioneers of the Revolution of 1911, lead visitors to re-enter the Road of 1911 and relive the heroic history of the Revolution of 1911. Huang Huahua, governor of Guangdong Province, said at the opening ceremony that Guangzhou is the birthplace of the modern revolution. Although the Revolution of 1911 did not change the semi-feudal and semi-colonial nature of old China, it opened the door to China's civilization and progress. The construction of the 1911 Revolution Memorial Hall in Guangzhou has practical significance for inheriting the revolutionary spirit. Sun Bida, Sun Yat-sen's great-nephew, said in his speech that the 1911 Revolution Memorial Hall provides an important carrier to commemorate the revolutionary martyrs and commemorate the revolutionary martyrs. He also hopes that the memorial hall can promote national harmony and unity. It is understood that the opening of the Guangzhou Xinhai Revolution Memorial Hall was unprecedentedly grand. Only one hour after it opened, the main exhibition hall received 1,320 visitors, and citizens waiting to visit formed a queue of more than 100 meters outside the hall. The excitement of the scene was beyond the expectation of the person in charge of the memorial hall.
