Speaking at a Las Vegas high school on Tuesday, Obama praised a bipartisan group of senators for putting forward a framework for immigration reform Monday, saying the proposals were very close to his own plans. But Obama warned, "The closer we get, the more emotional this debate will become." He said he would propose specific measures and call for a vote if Congress failed to take legislative action in a timely manner. The White House is temporarily delaying the introduction of its own bill.
