Touching the heartbeat of the sea on the east coast of the Pacific Ocean (picture) I have long heard that there are three golden beaches in Los Angeles, USA, and Huntington Long Beach is one of them. On May 22, we set off from Los Angeles and drove for about an hour to the long-awaited city of Huntington Beach to see the beauty of the golden beach. In order to park, we walked around the seaside neighborhood several times before we found a parking space. After parking the car, we rushed to the beach. There were some exquisite two-story houses along the street, including Spanish-style townhouses and European-style country villas. Each house had front and rear gardens, terraces and balconies of different colors. The courtyards and balconies were filled with flowers of various colors, making the quiet neighborhood come alive! We walked and admired it, and soon came to the beach. Tall palm trees are planted on both sides of the promenade. No matter how strong the sea breeze blows day and night, the palm trees still stand proudly. Under the warm sunshine, the golden beach shines with a hazy halo, and a special dreamy atmosphere hits you, making people tipsy. We strolled into the beach, where there was an activity stage built out of cars. Several music enthusiasts were singing ecstatically, and some tourists were sitting on the ground, admiring and echoing. The high-pitched singing and piano music spread far and wide with the sea breeze. On the beach, many groups of beach volleyball competitions are fiercely contested. Among them, a group of bikini beach volleyball competitions attracts the attention of tourists. Their skills and hot figures make people reluctant to leave. On the beach, a father and son were testing the water. A big wave hit. The little boy choked and started shouting and jumping. The young father encouraged his son and led him into the sea again, where he could withstand the wind and waves again. A couple lay cuddled up on the beach. They seemed not to be afraid of the biting sea breeze, but they were quite enjoying sleeping on the ground under the scorching sun, kissing in the gusts of sea breeze, and being intoxicated by the sound of the waves. A little further away, there were many surfers surfing in the wind, and there were many girls among them. They were all brave and invincible. It is said that Huntington Beach is the surfing capital of the United States and has always been known as Surf City USA. The world's largest U.S. Open of Surfing is held here every summer. Although we did not catch up with the International Surfing Day on June 20 this time, nor did we visit the prestigious Surfing Museum first, we did witness the heroism of surfing masters chasing waves and conquering the ocean. We wandered and watched the sightseeing bridge protruding out into the sea. The blue bay was sparkling and the white clouds were rolling in the blue sky. We kiss the sea breeze and feel the pride of the sea; we listen to the waves and touch the heartbeat of the sea. The vast expanse of blue sea is always so deep, clear, and endlessly flowing, and its surging heartbeat inspires our spirits; the boundless sea is generous and mysterious. It uses its broad mind to embrace all things on the earth, it uses its vast water to moisturize the spirits of the world, and it uses its warm waves to soothe our tired hearts. Although the sky was bright and sunny, the sea breeze from the East Pacific carried the air currents from the San Gabriel Mountains without losing its power. It blew on our faces and bodies, and it was biting and cold. We pulled up our coats and put on our hoods, but we were still shivering from the blows. A few men were fishing on the shallow bridge. I didn't believe that fish could be caught in the shallow sea where so many people were active. So, after asking for permission, I looked through their fish baskets and saw several sea fish of different sizes. The harvest was not small! It is said that they are all licensed anglers. At Long Beach, we saw many luxury yachts docked here, and at the makeshift exhibition market on the beach, we saw various agricultural and sideline products and folk life customs in the United States. In the afternoon, we also visited the Queen Mary, a huge cruise ship built by wealthy British businessman John Brown in 1930, and saw the "sunset" scenery of the British Empire. Then, we rode the sunset back to Los Angeles.
