Scottsdale (Old Town Scottsdale) is a fashionable city. Accompanied enthusiastically by Mr. Zhen Shiqin, the president of the "Alberta Times" and the beautiful editor-in-chief Deng Ling and his wife, we were fortunate to visit this luxuriously designed old town. In this Old Town Art District, which is full of strong artistic atmosphere, we experienced the culture and art of the western United States for the first time. Walking on the streets of Old Town Scottsdale, you will see almost all galleries and exquisite art shops, salons and bars. Western culture shines most brilliantly here. All the roadside sculptures, paintings, artworks in the store, and even the scenery in the windows are themed on Indians or cowboys, or depict the magnificent landforms of the American West. Scottsdale has always been famous for art. Since 1971, the three-day Scottsdale Art Festival has been held here every March. Famous oil painters, printmakers, sculptors, blowers and jewelers from all over the United States have gathered together to showcase their artistic attainments and extraordinary works to the tourists who come here. The annual Arts Festival is an unprecedented event, with thousands of people gathering at the Scottsdale Civic Center Mall to share a variety of arts, crafts, music and food, and have a great time. Mr. Zhen told us that Scottsdale and Haikou City in my country are sister cities. From April 5th to 30th this year, Scottsdale also held the "Ding Mengfang and Chen Xuebo Oil Painting and Sculpture Art Exhibition" for the first time, with a total of 30 oil paintings by Ding Mengfang and 20 sculptures by Chen Xuebo on display. These oil paintings use the beautiful natural scenery and profound regional culture of Hainan Island as creative materials, praising the land and sea of ​​Hainan from the perspective of history and culture. Under the enthusiastic guidance of the host, we wandered in this urban oasis garden-like neighborhood, calmly admiring various colorful sculptures, paintings, glass products, photography and handicrafts, and enjoying the atmosphere of Western culture and art.
