The memorial service for Asian American Newspaper President Wang Shuying was held grandly [Alberta Times] On August 21, the memorial service for Asian American Newspaper President Wang Shuying was held grandly at Green Garden Cemetery in Scottsdale. Both sides of the auditorium were filled with wreaths. Next to Wang Shuying's coffin, a condolence message from Ma Ying-jeou was hung, calling her: "The legacy remains." Various groups in the overseas Chinese community and Shuying's former friends came to pay her last farewell with tears in their eyes. The auditorium was full of guests, and there were extra seats in the aisles on both sides. Even so, there were still more people sitting than standing. Many people could only stand outside the door. For three hours, people listened to Wang Shuying’s outstanding contributions to overseas Chinese communities, Chinese schools, and charitable organizations during her lifetime. The wide range of her volunteer work, her various good qualities of helping others, and her conscientiousness as a newspaper reporter made everyone deeply miss her, praise her, and unanimously expressed their deep regret after losing her.
