As soon as I arrived in the United States, my cousin told me that you can’t go to the United States without going to San Diego, and you can’t go to San Diego without going to Sea World. It is reported that SeaWorld San Diego is the world's largest ocean theme park. It has various recreational facilities and is a good place for people who love marine life. It is also loved by countless children. So, we bought the combined tickets online early, full of expectations to enter the world-famous Sea World and experience the excitement of the ocean water world up close.

There are five relatively large exhibition halls in San Diego SeaWorld, namely: Marine Life Hall, Freshwater Life Hall, Turtle Hall, Shark Hall, and Polar Life Hall. Among them, the performance of Shamu, a giant killer whale weighing more than two tons, and his descendants in the shark aquarium is the most distinctive and worth appreciating.

The killer whale we saw has a very distinct color of black and white, with a smooth and smooth body. Its honest and narrow look is very cute. During the performance, a killer whale swam to the edge of the pool, tapped the water with its fins over and over again, and playfully splashed water on the tourists sitting in the front row. Then, under the guidance of the trainer, the killer whale performed various difficult movements. Especially every time the killer whale flips in the air, the pool will immediately set off waves. The overflowing seawater will not only soak the first few rows of spectators in an instant, but sometimes even the 14 rows behind will be spared. Fortunately, we sat in the back row of the show that day and escaped getting wet in the sea water.

In addition to the killer whale show, there are also some exhibition halls in Sea World that are also must-sees. There are sharks, penguins, dugongs, beluga whales, polar bears, moray eels, etc., which are all large and rare marine animals.

In the Shark Museum, through the underwater arched glass passage, we can walk into the glass pool where the sharks live, just like living among these giant marine animals, although there is a thick layer of glass in between. We can see sharks swimming just above our heads from the water, and it seems that we can touch their snow-white bellies with our hands. However, seeing their ferocious appearance is terrifying enough. However, how could we let go of this rare opportunity? So we pressed the shutter of our cameras frequently to take photos of these huge monsters.

The penguins you see in Sea World are genuine Arctic penguins, the kind that live in the ice and snow all year round. We entered the cold viewing hall and watched Arctic penguins through the glass. Artificial snow was falling continuously inside the glass of the exhibition hall. The falling snow gradually accumulated into small snow mountains. As you can imagine, the temperature inside must be very low, and the penguins must feel very comfortable living there.

The beluga whales seen in the beluga whale exhibition hall are very beautiful. The lines of muscles and the shape of the tail make people feel particularly sacred. The dugong is also called a manatee. It is extremely huge and can swim in circles in the water. The fish kept with it are also frighteningly large. The moray eels are also very, very big, like monsters.

In the sea world, there are not only marine animals, but also many land animals that we cannot name. Some animals look scary on the surface, but we try to approach them slowly, feed them food, and after getting closer to them, we no longer think they are scary, but think they are quite honest and cute.

In addition, SeaWorld San Diego has also opened up a world specifically for tourists to touch animals with their own hands. Children can learn a lot about animals through close contact and understanding of animals, and learn a lot of knowledge that they did not know before and learn how to protect animals in the future. Perhaps, this is a theme of Sea World Dates about understanding animals.

In the ocean world, there are also wonderful performances such as dolphin, penguin, sea lion performances and acrobatic melodrama. Visitors can choose different venues to watch different performances according to their own preferences and program schedules, and can even take a Wild Artic helicopter to the polar regions to observe the ecology of penguins. In the park, visitors can also take a rubber round boat and experience the pleasure of getting wet in the Shipwreck Rapids amusement facility. However, we will not participate in these exciting and wet shows.

At dusk, flocks of tired birds returning to their nests flew over the fiery red sky. We reluctantly left Sea World and drove back to Los Angeles.
