"Pearl of the Desert" is a book about the Chinese stories and the history of the overseas Chinese community in Huanghuang City, compiled after years of searching, collecting, querying, and sorting out. The whole book is divided into three parts. The first part is about local culture and art, because these customs are very authentic and interesting. The second part writes character stories. It not only records the Junxian of today, but also makes some legendary figures from the past gradually come to life through visits and descriptions, returning to the current world and becoming passers-by again. The third part is about the history of overseas Chinese communities. After all, in this land, the overseas Chinese predecessors have worked hard, fought hard, and sacrificed to build a desert town into a modern metropolis. It is their sweat and contribution.
