Zhang Zhaohong: The new book "Pearl of the Desert" is about to be published. A new book "Pearl of the Desert" that reflects the struggles and lives of Chinese people in Phoenix, Arizona, is currently being reviewed, typeset and ready for printing. It is planned to be released to everyone on the National Day of the United States this year. "Pearl of the Desert" is a book about the Chinese stories and the history of the overseas Chinese community in Huanghuang City, compiled after years of searching, collecting, querying, and sorting out. The whole book is divided into three parts. The first part is about local culture and art, because these customs are very authentic and interesting. The second part writes character stories. It not only records the Junxian of today, but also makes some legendary figures from the past gradually come to life through visits and descriptions, returning to the current world and becoming passers-by again. The third part is about the history of overseas Chinese communities. After all, in this land, the overseas Chinese predecessors have worked hard, fought hard, and sacrificed to build a desert town into a modern metropolis. It is their sweat and contribution. If you remove the floating soil, you can still see the deep footprints they made along the way. In the early history of the Chinese in Huangcheng, especially before the 1990s, there were no Chinese media in the city, and many materials lacked systematic preservation. They were like broken pearls, scattered and forgotten in this desert city. The book "Pearls of the Desert" hopes to use a red thread to thread the scattered pearls together again, so that they will have a bright combination and regain their dazzling brilliance. The publication of "Pearl of the Desert" has received strong support and encouragement from the vast number of overseas Chinese, the Phoenix Overseas Chinese Federation and its affiliated groups. Many seniors and pioneers have provided precious historical materials, books, newspaper clippings and photos, and sponsored the printing costs for the new book. "Pearl of the Desert" will print these lists on the Philippines page and express its most heartfelt thanks to them! This book is printed in limited quantities.
