Operation Thunder Police Dismantled Drug Cartel Last Thursday, in a joint operation involving Immigration and Customs Enforcement, Homeland Security and Pinal County police, six men were arrested. Police believed that one of the 28-year-old Mexican suspects was the leader of a drug organization. The day's operation began in the early morning. Law enforcement officers armed with seven search warrants searched in Chandler, Mesa and other areas of Maricopa County, and found a total of 10 illegally collected firearms and two bulletproof vests.
