Violent leaflets appear at the scene of Occupy Phoenix (Alberta Times) Supporters of "Occupy Phoenix" have been camping in the city center for more than half a month, and people have become accustomed to it. But it has once again made headlines in recent days and caused law enforcement officials to be on high alert. Flyers appeared at the event, encouraging those present to shoot at the police. Bart Graves, the Arizona Department of Public Safety sergeant, said law enforcement officers found the flyers in Cesar Chavez Plaza and reported them to the state Antiterrorism Information Center, and the Department of Public Safety began investigating the source of the flyers. Campaigners at the scene denied they were involved in the leaflets, arguing that shooting at police officers was inconsistent with the thrust of peaceful petitions.
