Maricopa County searches for illegal immigrants (Alberta Times) The Maricopa County Sheriff's Office said it arrested 10 illegal immigrants after raiding a printing plant south of Phoenix. The Sheriff's Supervisory Employer/Illegal Immigration Unit said some employees of PRISMA Imaging used fake IDs for employment. Investigation revealed that the Social Security number presented by an employee actually belonged to a 14-year-old girl. The employees were also found to have misappropriated credit card information and government health benefits. The printing company argued that it had used E-Verify for background checks when recruiting workers and found no suspicious identity of the arrested person.
