During the holiday season, gas prices are a key expense (Alberta Times) If you plan to drive and travel this holiday season, how much of your budget will be spent on gas? According to GasBuddy.com, the average price of gasoline in Phoenix fell 3.7 cents last week, which is 2.6 cents lower than the national average. While that's a good deal, it's still 36 cents per gallon higher than this time last year. "With the Christmas and New Year holidays approaching, we can still see the possibility of oil prices rising, but it is inevitable," said GasBuddy.com senior oil analyst Patrick Cordyhan.
