Phoenix Mayor Stanton's Community Advisory Committee public meeting (Alberta Times News Weiwei) A public meeting of Phoenix Mayor Stanton's Community Advisory Committee was held at 6:00 pm on March 20 at the Burton Barr Central Library. Mayor Stanton, all members of the Community Advisory Committee, and nearly a hundred members of the public attended this public meeting. A discussion took place regarding the mission and goals of the Community Advisory Committee. Mayor Stanton welcomed this and said that only a good community can build a good city. The mayor thanked everyone here for their efforts in community building. The Community Advisory Committee has also been working behind the scenes for a long time to build a safe and high-quality community. For example, they introduced conference bills and discussed the mission and objectives of the committee. After the advisory committee reviewed the situation, citizens expressed their opinions. The whole venue was quite lively. The record-keeper will record the public's opinions and will provide detailed explanations and reference opinions at the next meeting. During the meeting, speech cards are provided so that anyone who is willing to speak can speak freely. Mayor Stanton was very satisfied with the holding of this public meeting. He pointed out that only by accepting and carefully considering the opinions of the public can our community advisory committee do a good job in community affairs and implement them effectively, because this is a major matter that cares about the lives of every citizen in Phoenix, and it also includes protecting the interests of ethnic minorities.
