Gilbert resident's lucky lunch (Alberta Times) Recently, Gilbert resident Ms. Whitey Austin was drawn and had lunch with President Obama along with three other lucky people from across the country. Earlier, Ms. Austin donated $5 to President Obama's re-election campaign through the obamaforamerica.com website, and was lucky enough to be selected to have lunch with the President at the Lincoln Hotel not far from the White House on June 15. At the dinner table, Ms. Austin revealed that she shared with the president the joy of getting along with her daughter (Austin has a 10-year-old daughter, and the president also has two 10-year-old daughters), travel anecdotes, etc. The president also told her he would be returning to Chicago this weekend to attend a family wedding. Ms. Austin, director of marketing for the Southeast Valley Association of Realtors in Mesa, said the president is also concerned about the state of real estate in the state. "This was a great conversation," she said, "I will never forget it." People say: A hundred years of cultivation can make us cross the same boat, and a thousand years of cultivation can make us sleep together. What kind of cultivation is needed for a lunch? Only $5.
