Customer service in large banks ranks JPMorgan Chase No. 1 According to the latest "American Consumer Satisfaction Index" (ASCI), JPMorgan Chase surpassed Wells Fargo in customer service ratings this year Fargo and ranked first among large banks. Wells Fargo lost its spot for the first time since its merger with Wachovia. The annual ranking shows that large banks' customer service performance is far lower than that of credit unions and small banks. Among large banks, only JPMorgan Chase's performance improved this year. The ranking covers 47 industries and a total of 230 companies are on the list. JPMorgan Chase, which was at the bottom in 2010, not only improved its performance significantly, but also set a record for a bank not affiliated with Wells Fargo to win the title for the first time in more than ten years. Walkerbank maintained its lead in the index from 2001 to 2008. Since Walkerbank's brand faded, Wells Fargo's customer service has come under special scrutiny. At least one well-known analyst pointed out that the bank's service has declined since the merger of the two banks. Corp. ranked last among the major banks for the second year in a row. "We take customer feedback very seriously, and providing attentive and consistent service is our focus, but we now know we must work harder and are committed to improving," Jones said in a statement. On a scale of 100 points, this year's scores were credit unions with 82 points, small banks with 79 points, JPMorgan Chase with 74 points, Wells Fargo with 71 points, Citigroup with 70 points and Commercial Bank of America with 66 points.
