Tempe police announced on Tuesday that Angelo Moreno, a 23-year-old Phoenix man, was detained on suspicion of robbing two Tempe pharmacies on February 4 and 8.

A man entered a CVS Pharmacy at Baseline Road and Priest Road on the evening of February 4, handed a note to a pharmacy employee, jumped on the counter and demanded that the pharmacist give him a tranquilizer called Xanax, police said.

On February 8, police received a report of a robbery at the Walgreens Pharmacy at Baseline Road and Priest Road.

Fortunately, there were no casualties in the two robberies. The police found the suspect based on the pharmacy's CCTV.
