Choosing the ideal place to live can be difficult. Most of the time, many people seem to have to choose between areas with lower living costs or high-paying jobs.

But now many cities don’t need to consider it, because personal finance websites have already analyzed it to find places with high salaries and low living costs.

uses data from the well-known real estate website Zillow, global city data website Numbeo, and the Federal Census Bureau to compare the average annual income and average monthly expenses of each place to arrive at the results. Expenses considered include median rent, prices of grains, oils and groceries, and utility bills.

Southern and Midwestern cities, such as Dallas and Omaha, dominate the list. Oklahoma City tops the list because its average annual income is $72,385 and its estimated annual expenses are $18,701, leaving $53,000 a year for storage, investment and entertainment.

The following 10 places offer high-paying careers and lower living expenses, allowing people to save more income for the future:
