China News Service, Houston, March 24th. Comprehensive news: On March 24th, local time, students, teachers and people in many places in the United States held protest marches against gun violence.

CNN reported earlier that high school student organizations, mainly survivors of the shooting, called the march and asked lawmakers to introduce new laws to avoid mass shootings in schools and other places. In fact, March 14 was the anniversary of the Parkland school shooting. Tens of thousands of students in the United States suspended classes and walked out of classrooms to protest gun violence and demand the government to introduce stricter legislation on gun control. On the 24th, middle school students across the United States held larger demonstrations and rallies for this purpose.

Parkland marchers shouted, "Enough! No more AR-15s (rifles)." In the shooting, the gunman was using this semi-automatic rifle to shoot at the students. People also protested with slogans such as "Protect Children, Oppose Guns" and "Oppose the National Rifle Association (NRA)".

On the 24th, some people also held a march and rally for the Second Amendment to the U.S. Constitution and supported the "right to bear arms" of American citizens. (over)
