Asia-Pacific Community Promotion Association Video Challenge - Prize 250 Yuan The Asia-Pacific Community Promotion Association recently announced that it will launch "Your Story" ’s video challenge explores the personal stories of Asian and Pacific Islander youth living in Arizona. We want these teenagers to tell you how they are making a difference in their communities and/or society in general. In the video, we learn: What topics are important to you? (For example, arts, immigration, civil rights, health or education, etc.) In what ways or plans will you make a difference in your community? Contestants must be of Asian and Pacific Islander descent under the age of 21 and living in Arizona. Videos must be submitted in less than three minutes via YouTube or Vimeo. Videos can be produced in any form, including music videos, public service broadcasts, short films, video blogs, interviews, etc. The works should be creative, innovative and inspiring in concept and must be submitted to the Asia Pacific Community Advancement Association website (www.apcaaz.org) before midnight on November 16, 2011. We will review the submitted works and publish the selected ones on the Asia Pacific Community Initiative website. The first prize is US$250. This work will premiere at the Asian Pacific Community Advancement Association's "Promoting Health through Advocacy" conference, which is scheduled to be held on December 3, 2011 at the ASU Urban Campus. To submit your work, please visit the Asia Pacific Community Advancement Association website www.apcaaz.org. For more information, please call APCA at (602) 265-4598 or email Liza Merrill at liza@apcaaz.org.
