More than 200 people were participating in the outing at Fei Niyu Fengcai Hall, and it was unprecedentedly lively. Photo report by Alberta Times reporter Nalan: At noon on November 4th, the autumn air was crisp and the wind was sunny. The annual Yufengcaitang outing was held at Margaret Hance Park on Center Street in Phoenix. More than 200 people participated in the outing that day, the largest number in history, and the excitement was unprecedented. The purpose of Yu's outing was to connect with family members internally and to unite the overseas Chinese community externally. Under the leadership of Fei Niyu Fengcai Hall and senior overseas Chinese leader Yu Wenjin and the efforts of all staff, Fei Niyu Fengcai Hall has continued to grow and develop. The Yu family outing is not only an activity on behalf of the Yu family, but also a meaningful activity for the overseas Chinese community to connect with each other and strengthen unity. The leaders of the overseas Chinese delegation who enthusiastically participated in the event include: Alberta House of Representatives Yu Yanfen; Senior overseas Chinese leader Deng Chaoju, Chairman of the Overseas Chinese Federation Zhang Huafang, Vice Chairman Cui Zengqi, Chairman of the Science and Industry Association Xu Qiang, Chairman of the Huang Clan Association Huang Zhenjie, Chairman of the Chinese Chamber of Commerce in Alberta Wu Zhaowen, Chairman of the Chinese Seniors Association Deng Qingfen, Yingduan Branch Chairman Mrs. Huang Dingbang, Deng Gaomi Vice Chairman of the Office Deng Hezheng, Longgang Office Consultant Guan Xiqiao, Vice Chairman of the Chinese PEN Association of Alberta Kuang Tianquan, Honorary Advisor of the Kaiping Association Hu Shoubai, General Director of the Chinese Veterans Association Deng Zhaolin, Vice President of the Tongyuan Association Zhen Yiwen, Editor-in-Chief of the Alberta Times Deng Ling, etc. In addition to the on-site grilled sausages, hamburger beef, turkey, fried chicken, fried noodles, etc., the lunch that day also had the most unique pastries homemade by Yu’s aunts. These home-made pastries with hometown characteristics cannot be bought even if you have money. This is one of the highlights that attracts me most in every Yu’s event. After lunch, there is a lottery with abundant gifts. There are so many gifts that everyone has a share and never fails. The prizes are oil, sugar, biscuits, laundry supplies, household items, etc. that are inseparable from firewood, rice, oil, and salt. They are very practical and make everyone smile. During the outing, everyone received a free entrance ticket to the "Japanese Park" worth five yuan. The Japanese Park is next to the outing venue. It is a park with good green construction. There are many beautiful large koi carp and small waterfalls, which are pleasing to the eye. This outing made everyone have a very happy Sunday and left a deep impression. We hope to meet again next year!
