The youngest is three years old and the oldest is twelve or thirteen years old. In the process of shaping the turkey, the children not only experienced the joy of artistic creation, but also learned about the cultural atmosphere of Thanksgiving. In order to allow the children to fully experience the fun of clay sculpture, Teacher Xu personally demonstrated how to shape a turkey. From the overall shape of the turkey's body to the detailed features of its calves, Teacher Xu patiently explained every aspect. The children followed Teacher Xu's guidance and used their chubby little hands to press, rub, and pinch the clay to finally create a lively and cute little turkey. Parents and friends also participated and were very busy. Teacher Xu told everyone that clay, as a non-toxic and odorless natural mineral, is soft, moist and highly malleable. Unlike plasticine, clay sculptures are characterized by memory and non-rebound. This feature is not only convenient for children to carry out introductory imitation training.
