Party Celebration and Christmas Party of the Arizona Branch of the Kuomintang (Reported by "Sunbird" Qiuxiang) November 24 this year is the 118th anniversary of the founding of the Chinese Kuomintang. On December 9, 2012, the Arizona branch of the KMT held a party anniversary commemoration event and a Christmas party at the Kangle Building in Phoenix. Professor Yao Qichang, alternate member of the Central Committee of the Kuomintang, made a special trip from Los Angeles to attend the event. The party lasted for more than three hours, with a tight rhythm and a warm atmosphere. Party members and comrades in Alberta and more than 100 guests reviewed and talked about the history of the Kuomintang over the past century. The Kuomintang adheres to the ideals of the Three People's Principles of the founding father, Dr. Sun Yat-sen, and its efforts and contributions in leading the Republic of China to the path of democratic and free development. At the same time, the event also vigorously promoted various economic and foreign policies of Kuomintang Chairman Ma Ying-jeou. This party played a very good role in enhancing the centripetal force of the Kuomintang and the cohesion of party members in this province and overseas. Professor Yao Qichang, member of the Kuomintang Repair Central Committee, delivered a speech. He said: "Kuomintang Chairman Ma Ying's determination to reform and revitalize the Republic of China and the Chinese nation remains unchanged!" Kuomintang members Deng Xibang and Chen Chaoren presented a photocopy of the "World for the Public" handwritten by the founding father Sun Yat-sen to the Wang Wei Wangting organizing committee. The volunteers of the KMT's provincial branch prepared a delicious lunch for everyone. Before the meal, many friends shared their experiences of returning home recently, which made everyone happy to talk. During the lunch, some people sang and some danced with the music, which brought the party to a climax. On the 10th anniversary of the publication of "Weekly Newspaper", President Mo Xie received a congratulatory message from Kuomintang Chairman Ma Ying-jeou from Wang Wei and Wang Ting. At the same time, "Weekly Newspaper" presented next year's wall calendar to all guests.
