The climate in Arizona has entered December this year. Under the warm sun, there is no trace of winter at all. Even so, after the year-end festivities and the Thanksgiving dinner, everyone is busy with the most anticipated Christmas of the year! At this time of year every year at Huanghuangcheng Chinese School, an important activity is canned food donation, which is one of our actions to care for the society. Due to the severe shortage of food distributed to poor households by the Phoenix Liaison Office of Tzu Chi Foundation this year, our school was initiated by the Student Representatives Association and officially launched a fundraising campaign on November 11 with the active participation of President Zheng Yihong, Vice President Fu Shiting, and cadres Zhang Jiahao, Chen Yisheng, and Wu Yilin. Huanghuangcheng Chinese School once again showed the spirit of a big family and donated a total of 393 cans and dry food. One hundred and seventeen of them were donated by Foundation 2 Zhang Mingdao. As in previous years, he asked the children invited to his birthday celebrations to give cans instead of birthday gifts and donate all the proceeds to the school. Even at such a young age, he performed very well in fundraising! The Student Representative Federation will award Zhang Mingdao a certificate to thank him for his dedication. And each family's donation is an example of good deeds, sending us warmth in this warm winter!

Canned Donation Fundraising Student Federation will hand over all the donations raised to Tzu Chi Phoenix Liaison Office representative Sister Ci Tao on December 2, hoping to provide them with temporary relief from food shortages!
