Love in Beijing~Meet in Phoenix——-Introduction to Beijing Federation of Overseas Chinese Art Troupe [Contributed by Alberta Hualian] "Beijing Love~Meet in Phoenix" 2013 New Year Variety Show will be held on February 15, 2013 at the Mesa Arts Center. The party was co-sponsored by the Beijing Overseas Chinese Federation and the Alberta Overseas Chinese Federation, and was participated and supported by many local Chinese and overseas Chinese organizations. The members of the art troupe that went to the United States and Canada to perform condolences are composed of artists from China Broadcasting Art Troupe, China Oriental Song and Dance Troupe, China Railway Art Troupe and Beijing Fenglei Peking Opera Troupe. The members of the art troupe include national first-class actors, who have won first place in national competitions many times. They have visited and performed abroad on behalf of the Chinese Art Troupe many times, and are very popular with audiences at home and abroad. There is a Mongolian Khumai performing artist who came out of CCTV’s Avenue of Stars. There is a national first-level magician who has visited more than 20 countries and regions including the United States, Canada, Japan, Tanzania, Zambia, South Africa, Congo, Sudan, and Sri Lanka. There are young dance artists from China Oriental Song and Dance Troupe who won the Best Performance Award in the 3rd National Dance Competition. There are dancers from the China Railway Art Troupe who have won gold medals in international dance competitions. There are famous ventriloquist artists and famous Peking Opera artists. The performances include singing, dancing, ventriloquism, khumai, calligraphy and painting, magic, Peking opera and other colorful art forms. The art troupe has a strong lineup and high standards, and will undoubtedly bring a wonderful cultural and artistic feast to the local overseas Chinese, adding to the joy and celebration of the festival. The state-of-the-art Mesa Arts Center is located in downtown Mesa at 1 East Main Street, Mesa, AZ 85201. Tickets will definitely be in hot demand by then. In addition, when the art troupe performs in the United States and Canada, the Beijing Overseas Chinese Federation will also visit some overseas Chinese troupes and hold discussions with local overseas Chinese.
