During the two-week period from March 11 to March 22, 2013, New Oriental Art School (www. eaaAZ.com) carefully prepared a happy and beneficial spring break art class for the children. On the one hand, it reassures parents who value their children’s education: During the spring break, children stay away from TV and video games, spend the spring break in New Oriental’s rich art classes, and use standard Chinese every day, so the spring break education will not be reduced! It also makes the children happy: New Oriental’s spring break art classes include music, dance, martial arts, crafts... and of course you will make many good friends!

Summer Teaching Performance (Materials)

In terms of setting up New Oriental’s spring break courses, in response to everyone’s requests, this year we will continue to highlight daily Chinese classes. Teachers strengthen Chinese in daily spring break classes based on students' Chinese proficiency. Talk more and practice more in class; and have an appropriate amount of writing homework in each lesson. In art courses other than Chinese, school teachers also use standard Chinese teaching; actively encourage and guide children's Chinese expression.

Martial Arts

Another theme of New Oriental's art classes is to allow children to move and learn instead of just sitting there and learning. The fitness class taught by New Oriental's professional dance teachers allows students to move to the rhythm, strengthen their physical fitness, improve their coordination skills and confidence in their own body posture.

Another "Move to Learn" spring break course is the basic martial arts course. Martial arts classes are taught by professional teachers from the Arizona Shaolin Cultural Center. Students who have never studied martial arts can experience and lay a solid foundation in martial arts; experienced students can continue to hone their personal martial arts skills under the guidance of professional teachers.
