(Contributed by Zhang Zhaohong) ) The Spring Banquet of Longgang Office in Phoenix City was held at Luk Fook Restaurant on the evening of April 7. We sincerely invite nearly 300 relatives, friends, old friends and new acquaintances to celebrate the New Year together.

Dignified guests took a group photo to commemorate this year's Longgang Spring Banquet. The Liujiaban Lion Dance Team welcomed the Spring Festival with exciting drums and vigorous lions, adding a lot of joy to the entire venue. Next, Ms. Liu Liping, the queen of songs from Longgang, San Francisco Bay Area, sang golden songs. Miss Liu Liping has been to Phoenix no less than twenty times since she was first invited by Fang Huixian, the then chairman of the Phoenix Overseas Chinese Federation, to sing at the annual meeting of the All-American Chinese Association in 1989. She is not only the queen of Longgang songs, but also a cordial friend of Taiwanese communities and overseas Chinese from all walks of life. This time I came, I still have the same style and sweet singing. She sings solos and choruses with ease, and is familiar with Chinese and English songs. As a Phoenix Chinese who is very familiar with her, in the sound of Miss Liu's good songs, we are not only hearing familiar old songs, but also mixed with many years of emotions and friendship. From the introduction by the emcee Guan Yanyi, the speech by the chairman Zhang Huafang, the flowers presented by Longgang veteran Guan Zongren, and friends from Phoenix City vying to take photos with her, singing and dancing with her, etc., people can see an ordinary but outstanding singer who has made a lot of sacrifices, but has finally been recognized and praised by everyone. Good friends all said: Sister Ping, you have to come to Phoenix often even if you don’t sing; but when you come, you have to sing!

>The Longgang Spring Banquet has always been lively. This year’s entertainment program also included a dance performance by the Song and Dance Troupe of the Senior Citizens Association, guest appearances by Xiao Xiaohui and Wan Peijie from "Dragon and Phoenix Shop", and Fang Huixian's "Men Should Be Strong". Jin Fenghuang, who came from the Guangxi Tong Autonomous Region in China, sang Song Zuying's "Good Days" and the folk song "Liu Sanjie" in a unique way. In the lottery, there were gift certificates given by Xinxin Supermarket, meal coupons given by Luk Fook Restaurant, ten silver coins given by Longgang veteran Guan Zongren, and the grand prize was a traditional Chinese painting "Peony" donated by Chairman Zhang Huafang.

Longgang Office, composed of the four surnames of Liu, Guan, Zhang and Zhao, has always been united, creative and energetic, and the Longgang team also worked together to host this spring banquet brilliantly.
