Since 1986, she has become the first Asian female judge in Arizona, and was one of the 48 most attractive women during the Arizona Centennial Celebration. She has received numerous honors. Many people don't understand what she is doing now. Judge Deng gave a very popular metaphor to her position, which is the CEO of the court. Every year, the courts under her jurisdiction handle more than 35,000 lawsuits, such as traffic tickets, family disputes, etc. Therefore, this court handles the busiest and most trivial cases, but they are also the cases most closely related to the lives of ordinary citizens. Because of her special position, she could not accept this award at the Asia Promotion Association’s fundraising gala in May, so the Asia Promotion Association carefully prepared this simple and solemn award ceremony for Judge Deng. Judge Deng said: "I am very grateful to the community for giving her this honor. This award is different from many other awards. It may not put her name in a big name and make her famous throughout the ages, but it is the recognition of Asians and Chinese, like the recognition of her hometown and family for her efforts. She feels this is a very special feeling." During the speech, Judge Deng, who has a cheerful personality, was very moved and almost shed tears several times. Yu Wenjin, a senior overseas Chinese leader, also congratulated Judge Deng on winning the award and expressed his appreciation for Asia Advancement’s service to the community over the years!
