(Draft by Hope Chinese School on 11/22/2014) Being charitable and helping the poor are the traditional virtues of the Chinese nation. Students at Hope Chinese School will combine this traditional virtue with the Thanksgiving culture, and advocate students to have a grateful and caring heart, and launch the Hope and Love Action in the school. It is hoped that teachers, parents and students of Chinese schools will actively respond to raise funds for a school for the children of Tibetan herders in Seda, Sichuan, a remote area of China. There is a shortage of daily necessities in remote areas, and children need basic stationery and clothes. The student union plans to donate all the funds raised to Seda Central School in Garze Prefecture to prepare a Christmas and New Year gift for school children in mountainous areas. The gift includes school stationery and basic supplies. This charity action has received the support of 64 caring people and raised a total of $662. Small kindness and big love, let us work together to give love and hope to the children on the other side of the earth!

Thank you to Mr. Ding Ding, the parent of the student, for the short video he made for this love action: http://youtu.be/auiZl7hi82c The Arizona Hope Chinese School Student Association launched a donation activity on campus for the Seda Central School in Garze Autonomous Prefecture.
