Sharing of experience in teaching Chinese to overseas Chinese teenagers - Lectured by Dr. Ma Liping Sharing experience in teaching Chinese to overseas Chinese teenagers - Lectured by Dr. Ma Liping. Dr. Ma Liping graduated from the School of Education at Stanford University and has been engaged in the exploration of Chinese education for overseas Chinese teenagers for 20 years. The "Ma Liping" teaching materials she compiled through teaching practice are loved by students and parents. In 2008, the school began to try to add "Ma Liping" teaching materials for teaching. How to maximize the advantages of this textbook and achieve the best teaching effect has always been the goal of school leaders and teachers. Through the efforts of the school, we were fortunate enough to have Dr. Ma Liping come to our school to give training and lectures in person. She will use March 21st not only to provide training for our Chinese teachers, but also to communicate with Chinese parents in the Phoenix area to help parents better assist students to learn Chinese well. On the same day, we also invited local education expert Dr. Chen Pu to explain the key points of the Chinese AP exam. The schedule of Dr. Ma Liping and Dr. Chen Pu is now announced as follows: Date Time Venue Participating Group Content March 21 9:00am — 11:00am MCC BP-5 All Chinese teachers Dr. Ma Liping will share his many years of Chinese teaching experience with the teachers and answer their questions. March 21st 1:00pm–3:00pm MCC BP-5 All Parents Dr. Ma Liping explains her teaching philosophy and answers parents’ questions. Dr. Chen Pu explains the key points of AP Chinese. Due to limited seats in the lecture theater, parents can only enter the venue with tickets. Interested parents are asked to go to the "Hope Chinese School" office on February 28 and March 7 to collect their tickets. This lecture will be open to all Chinese families in the Phoenix area. The school only provides 100 tickets, first come, first served, while supplies last.
