(Newsletter of the Alberta Chinese Restaurant Association) On July 11th, the Phoenix Bowling Association's 2016 championship team Luk Fook held a celebration banquet at Lukfook Restaurant. The director of the Alberta Chinese Restaurant Association came to congratulate them. According to Wu Yizhao, chairman of the Bowling Association, the Bowling Association has a history of 75 years. Every Monday night after doing business, the old overseas Chinese will gather together to play ball and compete. The activities have never stopped to this day. In order to allow more interested people to participate, the Bowling Association holds training classes every year. Training activities are held at 19Ave. and Bethany Home Rd. every Monday at 9:30 pm. All walks of life are welcome to participate. For details, please call Wu Yizhao – 623-341-5032
