Arizona Tsinghua alumni commemorate the centennial anniversary of their alma mater (photo) April 24, 2011 is the centenary anniversary of Tsinghua University. One hundred years is a milestone in the development history of Tsinghua University. As the school anniversary approaches, Tsinghua alumni around the world are also actively preparing to celebrate the 100th anniversary of their alma mater. Arizona Tsinghua alumni have been paying attention to the development of their alma mater for many years and organized their own celebrations. Nearly a hundred alumni and their families from corporate schools such as Arizona State University, Intel, Honeywell, Amkor, Onsemi and other companies participated in the barbecue event celebrating Tsinghua University’s centenary held at Arrowhead Park at noon on April 23. The event started at 11 noon that day, and alumni came to the park one after another. New friends are introduced to each other, and old friends catch up with each other. While enjoying the freshly baked barbecue, everyone watched the slideshow of their alma mater. Looking at the familiar campus, many alumni thought of those green years... "Tsinghua educated me, I love Tsinghua." The alumni are grateful that they started their life journey in Tsinghua Garden and left beautiful memories of life in Tsinghua Garden. On the journey of life, Tsinghua students adhere to the school motto of "continuous self-improvement and moral integrity" and make their own contributions to the development of society and mankind in different jobs. Most of Tsinghua students in Arizona work in the high-tech industry. With their solid academic foundation, cautious and hard-working academic attitude, and active and innovative work consciousness, they have made a glorious mark for their alma mater in various industries. The slides also include the great achievements made by Tsinghua University since its establishment and the latest developments of the school, so that overseas alumni can understand the current Tsinghua University and feel the responsibility of Tsinghua people and the ubiquitous Tsinghua complex at every moment.
