Tucson: World-famous chef Wenda Zhen will showcase his exquisite craftsmanship and try Chinese delicacies. A special dinner banquet will be held on September 10th at the Tucson Mid-Autumn Festival (Harvest Moon) restaurant (12125 N. Oracle Rd, Oro Valley, AZ 85737). World-renowned Chinese chefs Martin Yan and Tony Wu served as chefs, cooking Chinese delicacies for guests and raising funds for Tucson's Chinese history and culture projects. For guests who sign up for this conference, the meal fee per person is US$150. Seats are limited, friends who like Chinese food are welcome to book a reservation. Yan Wen Tat was born in Guangdong. His father was a restaurant chef and his mother ran a grocery store. He has been associated with the catering industry since he was a child. After leaving home at the age of thirteen, he entered a restaurant in Hong Kong to study and then trained at the Hong Kong Overseas Culinary Institute, which has since opened up his professional culinary world. Yan Wenda is the first TV personality to successfully introduce Chinese food culture to mainstream American society, hosting more than 2,000 episodes of TV cooking shows that have been broadcast around the world. He is a well-known master chef at home and abroad, a renowned restaurant consultant, a professional cooking instructor, and a culinary writer with 26 published books. Including the award-winning "Yen Wen Tat Banquet Essence", "Asian Cuisine Essence", "Everyone Can Understand Chinese Food", "China Town Food Essence", and "Zhen Wen Tat's Simple Chinese Cooking", he has recently launched the latest carefully created TV series of cooking shows titled Master Zhen's "Easy Cooking" and "Food Zhen Kung Fu". Chef Tony Wu has 27 years of cooking experience. He has won many awards in many cooking competitions, especially three gold medals in the 50th Chinese Culinary Competition. He specializes in royal banquets, Sichuan cuisine and Jiangsu cuisine. He was hired by Chef Zhen Wenda as a culinary consultant. The royal cuisine cooked by Tony Wu is a masterpiece among chefs. His younger brother was the imperial cook of Puyi, the last emperor of China.
