Friends who like outdoor mountaineering, on March 11, 2012, the Phoenix Branch of the Chinese Scientists and Engineers Professionals Association (Science and Engineering College) organized everyone to go to Piestewa Peak/Dreamy Draw for outdoor mountaineering activities. There are two routes prepared for this event, one is No. 32 and the other is No. 300. The first is 3.74 miles, with a difficulty between moderate and difficult, and the second is 1.2 miles, a difficult route. Time: March 11, 10 a.m. Location: at the gate of Phoenix Mountains Park and Recreation Area (address: 2701 E Squaw Peak Dr). The specific driving route is to take Highway 51 and get off at the Glendale or Lincoln intersection, head east, and drive over Squaw Peak Road. Non-members of the College of Science and Technology pay an activity fee of two yuan per person, and members are free. (Membership fee is US$20/year for individuals and US$35/year for families). Science and Technology provides plates, forks, fruits and drinks for meals. The meal format is PICNIC, and everyone can bring their own home-cooked food to share. Before getting too hot in Phoenix and enjoy this coming Spring break, let's do another city-view hiking! We plan to challenge Trail #32 – Freedom Trails (3.74 miles. Moderate to Difficult) and Trail #300 – Summit Trail (1.2 miles. Strenuous and Difficult). Check link below for details.

Direction: Exit Glendale or Lincoln on I-51 and head east. And then turn to Squaw Peak Dr).
Pot-luck: Picnic with your house-special food/dish while ACSE provides drink, bread and plates/folks.
Fee: $2.00 per person for non-member and no-charge for member.
