Ray Rd and N. Alma School Rd.), known for its excellent Chinese arts education and large-scale art performance capabilities, recently hosted the National Baseball League's Diamondbacks home stadium (Chase Field, Phoenix) pre-game show organizing committee, will enthusiastically participate in the pre-game performance at the Diamondbacks home court this summer. Pre-game show performance time: August 28, 2011 (Sunday) at 12 noon Performance location: Diamondbacks home court (Chase Field, Phoenix) 401 E. Jefferson St. Phoenix, AZ 85004 *The pre-game show is already covered by the baseball game tickets on that day. New Oriental Art School (602. 490. 8613) has limited tickets for sale. Take advantage of this great opportunity for baseball fans to watch the action live or for your whole family to enjoy a relaxing and fun weekend away from home. The pre-game show on August 28 this summer will be the first collaboration between the Greater Phoenix Chinese Overseas Chinese Federation, the Alberta Chinese Federation, New Oriental Art School and a major sports league in the United States. As a representative of Chinese culture in the Phoenix area, New Oriental Art School is deeply honored and proud to be based in the Chinese community and move towards a broad American national cultural platform. As a bridge and messenger of Chinese culture, the school is also well aware of the responsibility it shoulders. For this performance, the school selected more than 50 outstanding folk dance students and began intense rehearsals under the careful guidance of Chinese dance experts. This dance choreography highlights the characteristics of Chinese culture and integrates unique Chinese dance skills such as traditional handkerchief dance and colorful silk dance. It will present a warm, festive and exquisite collection of Chinese dance highlights to tens of thousands of baseball fans, adding luster to the game that day and adding luster to Chinese art!
