From the Arizona Chinese Association (Hua Zong) :
At a time when the Western economy, especially the U.S. economy, is in a new round of crisis, in order to help overseas Chinese scholars find good opportunities to return home to start businesses and develop, the China Overseas Talent Network, the North American Chinese Scholars International Exchange Center, Shanghai Weiyou Business Consulting Company, and Shenzhen Caiwaicai Information Technology Company will jointly organize the "2011 Winter Overseas Scholars Innovation and Entrepreneurship Project Promotion Conference (Shanghai) and Jiangnan Inspection Trip" in December 2011.
This event is the second time held in the country. The first event was successfully held in Shanghai, Nanjing Jiangning, Wuxi Yixing and Ningbo in July 2011. In the first event in July, a total of 197 representatives from 140 units including governments, development zones, enterprises, and venture capital companies across the country participated in the project docking with 50 overseas scholars, and achieved fruitful results: more than 70% of the overseas students who attended the event stated that they had reached a strong intention to cooperate with domestic governments or investors through the event, and even formally signed contracts. For details and results of the activities in July, please see the "Summary of Results of the 2011 Summer Overseas Scholars Innovation and Entrepreneurship Project Promotion Conference" in the attachment.
Based on the successful experience of the first project promotion meeting in July, the organizing committee will further expand the scale of the event, strengthen the effect of the event, and once again hold the "2011 Winter Overseas Scholars Innovation and Entrepreneurship Project Promotion Conference (Shanghai) and Jiangnan Inspection Trip" event. I believe that through this event, it will provide members of your association with a high-quality platform for returning to China to start businesses and develop, as well as effective services and assistance. We hereby sincerely invite you to cooperate with your association and organize your association members to participate in this event. If your association is willing, our organizing committee will include your association's name as a co-organizer of this event, thereby expanding your association's influence in China.
