(Contributed by the Western-American Chinese Artists Association) On the evening of the 25th of this month, organized by the Western-American Chinese Artists Association, painter Lin Xuan held a wonderful "Color Painting" lecture in her art studio. More than 40 art lovers participated in this event.

Lin Xuan graduated from Sichuan Academy of Fine Arts in 1982 and later stayed at the Sichuan Academy of Fine Arts to teach. She came to the United States in 1993 and worked successively in a university sculpture design studio in the United States and a well-known art company in Phoenix. Lin Xuan emphasized that love is the driving force for creating beauty and the soul of art works. Lin Xuan used a large number of real-life works by Mr. Liu Jiachang as examples, praising Mr. Liu's natural and simple love for his family, and his noble character of hard work. He, like Van Gogh and the masters, has the same desire to express beauty and share beauty. Lin Xuan analyzed nearly 200 world-famous landscape paintings and demonstration pictures from Russia, France, China, and the United States, and vividly and concisely described the basic elements of painting composition, several forms in composition, and various forms of expression such as stillness, movement, curve, straightness, repetition, repetition, and unity in change. This gives everyone a new understanding of the rules of color perception and cognition, as well as color mixing methods. Lin Xuan's lecture briefly stated that artistic creation, like scientific inventions, plays an important role in people's lives, and art guides and affects people's aesthetics and life. I hope everyone will understand the laws of art and use color mixing methods to help people create their own beautiful homes, beautiful clothes and happy lives. Not only adults but also students came to the studio to listen to the lecture. Children also painted while listening. Everyone was very enthusiastic about learning painting and actively discussed it. Association president Lin Feng and painter Lin Xuan answered questions and difficulties that everyone has long encountered in learning painting from time to time.
