1992年,余文劲先生有感于华人墓园不集中,并和其它族裔混合,而且太靠近公路,日夜嘈杂,有违华人入土为安的传统观念,他联同 华人福利会和绿木墓园管理层商议,新开辟目前华人墓园,并争取到以半价出售墓地,短期内就卖出了​​二百幅,为华人节省近十万元,解决了老侨对 百年身后事的担忧。 到2012年,这位85岁高龄的老侨仍为华人墓园一事操劳,再度和绿木墓园管理层商议合作,以相对低廉的价格向华人出售墓地,以及给予墓碑等方面的节扣。 目前已有数十位侨民向华人耆英会主席邓情芬登记(电话480-710-0503)。 五月十二日(星期六)上午九时至十二将办理认购手续,如还有此方面需要而未有登记的侨民,请按时到康乐大厦排队轮候。 (地址:3930 N.24 Ave Phoenix,AZ 85013)
