Make your own mooncakes - New Oriental Culture Forum Mid-Autumn Culture Lecture Series Make your own mooncakes New Oriental Culture Forum’s Mid-Autumn Culture Lecture Series Preview The Mid-Autumn Festival is coming soon, and the New Oriental Culture Forum (co-sponsored by New Oriental Art School and Oasis Culture and Education, and planned by “Sunbird Asia” Chinese Network in Arizona) will launch a series of Mid-Autumn Festival cultural lectures led by teacher Chen Pu. In the first issue, Teacher Zhang Lin will teach everyone how to make mooncakes by yourself. The organizer of the event will prepare flour, sugar, stuffing and other ingredients for making mooncakes, as well as tea, etc. Friends who have a small oven at home can bring it with them so that they can be baked and tasted on the spot. After dinner next Saturday, let us invite our close friends to come to New Oriental together, make new friends, try delicious homemade mooncakes, and drink good tea brought from China. This event charges a material fee of US$5 per person. Friends who want to participate should register and make an appointment before September 18th in order to determine the number of people and prepare materials.
