The Arizona branch of the Kuomintang held a special speech symposium in commemoration of the martyrs Huanghuagang

(Kuomintang Arizona Submission from the directly affiliated branch)

The Arizona branch of the Kuomintang has specially scheduled a special lecture symposium in commemoration of the Huanghuagang Martyrs at 1:00 pm on March 9 at the Kangle Building. Today we commemorate the Battle of Huanghuagang not only because among the seventy-two martyrs there were overseas Chinese, but more importantly because we cherish the hard-won achievements of the democratic system of the Republic of China. And continue to support the Chinese Kuomintang and work tirelessly to realize the ideals of Dr. Sun Yat-sen's Three People's Principles. This symposium has specially invited Professor Bao Jialin, Queen Elizabeth II Gu Yin, Professor Yao Qichuan, alternate member of the Central Committee of the Kuomintang, Wu Chengyuan, vice president of the Taiwanese Association of America, and Professor Shaojun, a famous writer, to attend the symposium to celebrate this special anniversary with everyone. In the forum, we have arranged special speeches, including the Battle of Huanghuagang (official history, unofficial history and women’s contribution), the future construction and prospects of the KMT’s overseas branches, and the voices of overseas party members. At the same time, there was also an open discussion, hoping to solicit opinions from all parties based on the current situation of the overseas Chinese community in Alberta and make suggestions for the future work of the party branch. We also hope that friends who are concerned about the development and construction of branches directly under the Kuomintang will actively participate and express their opinions.
