Dear photography enthusiasts, (Welcome to forward to other enthusiasts)

Have you checked AZAPC web site recently? Have you checked the association website recently? http://www.AZAPC.ORG

A friendly reminder that the deadline of ‘The Beauty of Arizona’ photography contest is 4:00pm, May 28, 2013.

reminds you that the submission deadline for the "Beauty of Arizona" photography competition is 4:00 pm on May 28th. Clarification of the "no computer software is allowed to compose photos" in the photography competition rules: The original meaning of this rule is: the photo should be "original." It is not allowed to use software such as Photoshop to modify or create something out of nothing (composition). The following moderate use of computer software is allowed:

crop

adjust brightness, contrast, color, sharpness

convert color into black and white)

rotate

We apologize for the misunderstanding caused by the insufficient explanation of the original regulations!

Clarification to the contest rule that ‘Pictures should not be digitally composed using computer software.’ ‘Digitally composed’ means using a program like Photoshop to compose a scene. However, proper use of image processing programs are allowed for: Cropping

Adjusting brightness, contrast, color, and sharpness

Converting color into black and white

Rotation (straightening) We apologize for the confusion and inconvenience that this might have caused. Sincerely, AZAPC 2013 Photography Contest Committee
