The sun was shining brightly on the morning of July 26, and the temperature soared to 109 degrees Fahrenheit. Parents who had not left the city to escape the summer heat arrived with their children one after another at the Tzu Chi Phoenix Club to participate in the parent-child camp activities of the Children’s Advanced Class. The education team arranged four classes: yoga, line dancing, Tzu Chi sign language, and calligraphy. Through relaxed indoor activities, the interaction and affection between parents and children were enhanced. Finally, everyone enjoyed the loving desserts prepared by volunteers, and the event ended successfully. Tzu Chi’s education focuses on life education and humanistic spirit, cultivating seeds of kindness and cultivating compassion. Master Cheng Yen kindly stated: The goal of education is to inspire children’s wisdom and enable them to grow their wise lives. When children understand the value of life, they can broaden their minds and become people who can contribute to society. This is the continuation of love, which allows people to see hope for the future of society.
