(Contributed by Peng Fei) On Saturday, January 17, sponsored by the Arizona Chinese Economic & Cultural Advancement Association of USA (ACECA) invited hundreds of guests from Phoenix City to gather together for a passionate New Year Love Dinner and Dance. Huang Shuangshuang, president of the Arizona Chinese Economic, Trade and Cultural Promotion Association, paid tribute to everyone in his early years and introduced the association's purpose and achievements in recent years. She introduced that the Alberta Chinese Economic, Trade and Cultural Promotion Association (ACECA) was established in January 2013. The Association is a non-profit, non-political, non-religious professional body. The purpose is to increase economic development in the business fields of education, health care, high technology, green energy and other business fields and to contribute to Sino-US economic and cultural exchanges. In the past two years, the association has focused on community service and spreading Chinese culture. The association has held many free lectures on financial management, tax preparation, dental care, health care, investment, applying for college scholarships, etc. in the community. Looking to the future, ACECA will continue to work hard to promote the development of Chinese enterprises, spread Chinese culture, provide more public welfare activities for the community, and strive to provide financial assistance to poor areas, schools and students in the next two years. The association will establish scholarships to encourage high school and college students who have made outstanding contributions to the community. The association will design member VIP discount cards and love gift cards. The association will donate all proceeds from the sale of love cards to poor areas in China.

The association conducted an on-site election vote for the new board of directors, and announced the new board members elected on the spot: Jing Tianwei: chairman of the board of directors, Huang Shuangshuang: President of the Association, Chen Ting: Vice President of the Association, Peng Fei: Vice President of the Association, Chen Xieping: Treasurer of the Board of Directors. Love reunion, charity society. The association collected a total of $575 in donations during the dance, all of which will be donated to students from schools in poor areas of China. The association would like to express special thanks to MESA Community College president Mr. Pan Shou'an, the first principal of Asia Hope Chinese School Mr. Tang Xiaoxian and his wife Cai Shangao, Mrs. Yu who is beloved by the community and caring, and the UCAA, Principal Lu of the Art School of Alberta, "Sunbird" Arizona Chinese Network, the dance group led by GPCCC He Chunling, representatives of the modern Chinese schools in Alberta, representatives of the Hope Modern Chinese School, the Chinese Band and Chorus, ASU Student representatives, representatives of the Alberta Times, Asian American News reporter Sun Jianping, representatives of the Alberta Writers Association, representatives of the Alberta Mobile New Media "Alberta Chinese Weijia-Arizona Information Platform" and many other friends enthusiastically supported and participated. The colorful entertainment program at the party won bursts of applause, and the lucky draw interspersed in the program brought laughter.
