The 2014 National “Youth Wildlife Art Contest” wildlife painting competition has been announced. A total of two Arizona students made the national award list. Amy won first place in the National High School Group (Grade 10-12) and received a prize of US$750, and was invited to participate in the 2015 annual meeting and painting exhibition held in Virginia on April 10 this year. Meda’s classmate received an honorable mention.

The annual animation drawing competition for primary and secondary school students is divided into four groups (Grades 1-3, Grades 4-6, Grades 7-9, Grades 10-12). The painting competition aims to encourage primary and secondary school students to learn and understand animals growing up in various wild environments from an early age, and to enhance their love for and protection of natural animals. And give full play to your painting talents to truly express the shapes, faces and living environments of various wild animals. The 2014 National Painting Competition received thousands of works, and the judges selected a total of 51 outstanding works. On this basis, each group selected the top three winners, a total of 12, and 39 received honorable mentions.

Aimi's work won the first place in the high school category in the United States

Aimi's creation is "North American Bison". In the early morning, the warm sunshine fell on the vast snow field and the brown bison. The American bison began its difficult day of foraging. The majestic body and brown hair of the bison in the picture, as well as its shining eyes, show the bison's unyielding strength and strong will. The light blue and fluttering clouds and snowflakes in the background make people feel like they are in the colorful snow. Huang Meida’s creation is the turkey that everyone is most familiar with. She vividly depicts the feathers and expression of the turkey.

Meida’s work won the National Honor Award

Both students participated in the National Animal Painting Competition for the first time. They usually love various art activities and are currently studying painting at Lin Feng Art Studio.
