On the third day of the first lunar month, February 21, 2015, at 1:00 pm, the Spring Festival Temple Fair of Hope Chinese School in Alberta was grandly held. When it comes to "temple fairs", what attracts everyone is the variety of interesting ideas and traditional food. So what do you want a Chinese school to look like?
Make your own rattle
The children who want to make their school’s temple fair unique have worked hard. This is the balang drum they made themselves: the image of the zodiac sign of the Year of the Sheep is used. When you shake it back and forth, you can hear the sound of the rattle. The image is vivid and reflects the color of oriental culture. Every child who gets the balang drum is very happy.

Principal Tian Lin presided over this event. She arranged for each class to take turns on stage, because the temple fair is a good opportunity for children to pay New Year greetings to their teachers and friends. The children sang children's songs, sang, or sang Chinese New Year greetings, making the New Year's greeting event lively and festive.

hopes that the former principals of Chinese schools will give red envelopes to children who celebrate the New Year. This was the most jubilant moment for the entire audience. Principals Tang Xiaoxian, Shuai Zhiruo, Huang Xinxin and Zhao Caihong once again had cordial contact with the children and sent their best wishes for the new year.
The sumptuous New Year delicacies will be a feast for all friends participating in the event!
Delicious, fun, and a blessing! Have you participated in the activities of Hope Chinese School? If not, then be patient and come back next year!
