Hate can be put aside, but history cannot be forgotten. As part of the province's anti-fascist and commemorative activities to commemorate the 70th anniversary of the victory of the Anti-Japanese War, a symposium to commemorate the 70th anniversary of the victory of the Anti-Japanese War, co-sponsored by Phoenix Rongguang and the Phoenix Chinese Elders Association, will be held on July 7, the anniversary of the Marco Polo Bridge Incident. The symposium invited Dr. Xu Yongtai, a well-known historian in Los Angeles, Professor Bao Jialin, a professor and historian at Arizona State University, and Mr. Cui Zengqi, vice chairman of the Overseas Chinese Federation, former chairman of the Senior Citizens Association, and who experienced the hardships of the Anti-Japanese War, as speakers. After the keynote speaker's presentation, there will be a thirty-minute live discussion. All guests are welcome to speak and ask questions freely. Before the meeting, the choir of the Chinese Senior Citizens Association will sing anti-Japanese songs and screen the anti-Japanese Prime Minister. A nation that forgets its history cannot see the future. When our Chinese nation has experienced the most tragic war of aggression in history, not only should we not forget it, but we must also pass on the spirit of our country's majesty and keep it in the hearts of our children and grandchildren. All passionate friends are welcome to attend with their families. Symposium Date: July 7, 2015 at 1:00 pm Address: 734 west Elm st. Phoenix AZ 85013.
