The National Congress of the Chinese Kuomintang approved Hong Xiuzhu’s candidacy for the 14th President of the Republic of China. The Arizona branch of the Hong Xiuzhu Support Association had been in preparation for a long time and was officially established in Phoenix on the same day. Fifty-six party members and guests attended the meeting. Senior party members Min Zhongying, Zhan Haowen and Hui Binhua served as conveners, Honorary President Gu Yin, Secretariat Yang Yonghui, Finance Department Liang Xiaoyan and Yan Yu, executive members Su Lili, Liang Weiguo, Cao Jiayi, Pan Wenhui, Chen Chaoren, Cai Chang, Li Wenzhe, Fu Pingsheng, Qiu Zhongping and Wang Wei𤧟. Chairman of the conference Min Zhongying first introduced that Hong Xiuzhu had gone through the party's primary election system, passed the joint signature nomination, crossed the polling threshold, and was officially nominated. As early as the first stage of the party, comrades from the Arizona branch signed a petition to support it. After being formally nominated by the National Congress, the branch immediately established a support group to sincerely support Hong Xiuzhu's courage and determination to protect the party, and also recognized his philosophy of governing the country and his policies. Chairman Min continued to elaborate on the key points of Hong Xiuzhu’s speech at the regular meeting of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China on June 16. Populism is currently rampant in Taiwan, obstructing legislation and governance, and irrationally anti-China, resulting in economic stagnation, industrial degradation, and deepening social hatred and ethnic opposition. School education and media dissemination are wantonly distorting and misleading, and populism blindly follows, does not distinguish between right and wrong, and is irrationally anti-government. The society is sinking day by day, but completely regardless of the consequences. Hong Xiuzhu specifically advocated signing a cross-strait peace agreement, actively participating in international organizations, fully developing the economy, rationally adjusting the fiscal and taxation and legislative systems, and achieving fair distribution and justice. During the meeting, Pan Wenhui and Wang Houji successively read Hong Xiuzhu’s primary election speeches. Gu Yinyuan, consultant of the direct branch, attended the meeting from Los Angeles. She said that based on her deep friendship with the branch and her support for Hong Xiuzhu, this trip was obligatory and meaningful. Hong Xiuzhu's journey from the primary election has been full of ups and downs, but he has always moved forward bravely. To put it bluntly in Gu Yin's words, "She has stood up, there is no reason for us not to stand up!". Hong Xiuzhu will not play with black money. He will set up a special account for small donations of NT$100 to raise funds. He will fight this arduous campaign and receive an immediate response from donations. When I attended a dinner party hosted by President Ma when he passed through Los Angeles, I was deeply moved by the bias of the Taiwanese people and media, which completely wiped out the achievements of President Ma's team. Although Taiwan's competitiveness, purchasing power, and employment rate are not among the best in the world, they are still beyond the reach of most countries. Taiwan's purchasing power is even higher than that of the United Kingdom and Japan. Even members of the U.S. Congress took the stage to give affirmative speeches. Gu Yin also provided a comparison table of President Ma’s performance during his seven years in power and that of the Democratic Progressive Party government, including visa-free countries, tax agreements, fishery agreements, labor insurance and pensions, and social security. In short, we agree with Hong Xiuzhu's belief that the Chinese Kuomintang is the great party that created Asia's first democratic republic and upholds the party soul, party ethics and central ideology of the martyrs and sages. We will never compromise or tolerate. If we fight for a moment, we will fight for the future. We must be clear about right and wrong, and we must never lose our pattern, principles and aspirations. The directly affiliated branch "follows the road, not the situation, and the will, not the strength." Everyone works together. Just as the convener Hui Binhua called on in his final speech, try to return to the country to vote and do your best to help the election. This is a critical election that can only be won and cannot be lost.
