In the blink of an eye, the Alberta College of Art has celebrated its first anniversary. In just one year, the events hosted by the Art Institute of Alberta, "2015 Alberta Spring Festival Gala" and "Alberta Cultural Performance to Commemorate the 70th Anniversary of the Victory of the Anti-Japanese War" have aroused huge response. The college was invited to participate in the National Day performance hosted by the Overseas Chinese Federation and the annual meeting of the Chinese American Professional Association. The students' superb skills have been widely recognized, and some students have even won big prizes in international Chinese folk dance competitions.

The school continues to grow in size. The Art Institute of Alberta has expanded from its earliest two large dance studios to three professional dance studios. All teaching facilities are in accordance with the standards of American professional dance studios. The Art Institute of Alberta not only strengthens and consolidates the most distinctive Chinese folk dance classes, but also offers basic professional courses, belly dance classes, ballroom dance classes, etc. Mass dance aerobics and square dancing also make the community fitness atmosphere in full swing. Ballet and jazz dance are also being negotiated with new American dance teachers, and new courses such as martial arts and nunchuck will be available to everyone soon. In September this year, at the request of parents, the Art Institute of Alberta opened a branch in Scottsdale. Very popular with parents and children. In order to enrich community life, the Art Institute of Alberta provides free venues for community choirs and professional lectures.

To celebrate the anniversary of the Art College of Alberta, and to thank the community colleagues for their support over the past year, the college will prepare some delicious snacks, gather with community colleagues, parents and children, and hold a competitive talent show at the school.

Talent performances are not limited to age or program format. The program can be dance, singing, musical instruments, etc. As long as you dare to show off, we will provide a stage. Let us bring art and joy to you.

The Academy will also select the Most Popular Award via audience voting. The winners will receive a very special gift.
