> Wang Wu was born in 1930 in Anqiu City, Yimeng Mountain District, Shandong Province. In 1941, he joined the local youth anti-Japanese vanguard, stood guard and fought against Japanese soldiers to protect his homeland. In 1942, he was injured and disabled in a fight with the Japanese. In 2011, he immigrated to the United States to reunite with his children. He currently lives in the Memorial Building Senior Apartment and is a member of the Chinese Senior Citizens Association. In activities commemorating the Anti-Japanese War, the story of the Chinese people's fight against the Japanese invaders was told many times. In 2015, he was awarded the "Commemorative Medal for the 70th Anniversary of the Victory of the Chinese People's Anti-Japanese War" issued by the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, the State Council and the Central Military Commission (contributed by Cui Zengqi)
