The Arizona branch of the Chinese Kuomintang held a party members' meeting on March 11 to commemorate Youth Day and remember the revolutionary martyrs. The meeting included special speeches, special party dues and political donation reports, joint signatures for the election of the Chinese Kuomintang Party Chairman, and the re-election of the Standing Committee of the Arizona branch, all of which were carried out in order and successfully completed. The overall meeting repeatedly emphasized - adhere to the party's beliefs and unite as one. 1. Special Speech - Revolutionary Poet Comrade Shaojun gave a special speech, a great revolutionary poet and a heroic revolutionary poem. History is like the weather, there is haze from time to time, which obscures the truth. However, after the haze cleared, the sky was still clear. Taiwan's political smog, although polluting for a while, will never drown the Chinese Kuomintang. We should not be discouraged, we must persist in our faith, and we must unite and move forward. From a historical perspective, the light in people's hearts always guides us in the direction we long for. We must have confidence that there will be setbacks before our ideals are achieved. Sun Yat-sen, the founding father, led the revolution and upheld the revolutionary ideal of the Republic. After ten failed uprisings, the Revolution of 1911 finally succeeded, overthrowing the feudal autocracy and establishing the Republic of China. On the 29th day of the third lunar month in 1911, revolutionary leader Huang Xing led more than 120 death squads to attack the General Administration of Guangdong and Guangxi. It was known as the Huanghuagang Uprising in history. The battle was brutal, with nearly a hundred casualties. There were 86 martyrs whose names were known, and only 72 were buried in Huanghuagang, the eastern suburb of Guangzhou. The founding father spoke highly of the Battle of Huanghuagang, "This battle was filled with green blood, majestic energy, grass and trees were sad for it, the wind and clouds changed color, and the hearts of people who had been dormant for a long time in the country were very excited. The accumulated resentment was like a roaring wave, unstoppable, and it took less than half a year for the great revolution in Wuchang to be completed. The value of this battle can shock the heaven and earth, make ghosts and gods weep, and live as long as the Wuchang Revolutionary Battle." Huang Xing was a staunch supporter and follower of Sun Wen's thoughts, and was also a poet and lyricist who was famous for both literature and martial arts. Before the Huanghuagang Uprising, he expressed his determination and belief in overthrowing the Qing autocratic dynasty. He once wrote: Demonic clouds fill the Lingnan sky, and the Yantang River is full of blood. Qiongtu sees Jing Qing again in ancient times, but now he takes off his sword and meets Ji Huixian. Weeping for seven days, Qin will be saved, but ten years of prosperity will be in vain. On the golden snake day, millions of lions will arrive at Yan. Shaojun explained that this poem starts with the sadness of the continuous failure of the revolutionary uprising and ends with the vision of the victory of the revolution in the future. It shows the poet's heroic spirit that he becomes more courageous as he fights and sees death as if he is home. The whole poem is deep and poignant, and it is very touching. The power of fifty-six words is stronger than many long articles. After the failure of the Huanghuagang Uprising, Huang Xing, who was seriously injured, wrote a poem in "Die Lian Hua Weeping for the Martyrs of Huanghuagang in the Autumn of 1911", full of blood and tears:

In the twinkling of an eye, the yellow flowers looked at their origins, and to remind the west wind, they temporarily held the fragrance. When the branches are full of clear dew, the gentle wind blows on the ruthless tomb. Looking back at the evening of March in Yangcheng, blood and flesh were flying, and the anger was swallowing up the captives. When everything goes wrong, he becomes the original rat, and the hero is left speechless. In the battle of Huanghuagang, a ten-pronged attack was originally planned. However, due to the lack of overseas donations and weapons, Chen Jiongming and other rats fled the battle, Huang Xing changed to a four-pronged attack, and suffered tragic sacrifices. Success is not guaranteed, but success must be determined. Heroes drink hatred, so what can I say? After the founding of the Republic of China, Chen Jiongming really rebelled. 2. Special party dues and overseas donations: The Arizona branch raised special party dues and political donations totaling US$10,000. Gu Yin and Yang Yonghui returned to Taiwan and paid them to the Central Party Committee. Chairman Hong personally met with us and talked with us. He thanked our comrades for their selfless dedication and support, and said that this was the driving force for the Kuomintang's resurgence. A special roster of party dues and overseas donations details the names of comrades who donated, party card numbers and donation amounts, with payment receipts attached, and is reported and circulated during the meeting to show public trust. 3. China Kuomintang Party Chairman Election Instructions and Signatures According to the central election regulations, to officially become a candidate for the party chairmanship, you need to obtain the joint signatures of three percent (3%) of the elected party members. There are currently six people who are willing to vote: Hong Xiuzhu, Wu Dunyi, Hao Longbin, Zhan Qixian, Han Guoyu and Pan Weigang. Each comrade in this branch independently signs the candidate of his choice based on his own knowledge and judgment. 4. The term of the standing committee members of the Arizona branch has expired and been re-elected. The Arizona branch has been established for six years. The first standing committee member, Wang Wei𤧟, was re-elected for one term. When the two terms expire, he should be re-elected according to the organizational regulations. After recommendation, secondment and voting by the party members present, Qiu Zhongping, the third member of the Standing Committee, was elected. Pastor Chen Chaoren prayed that everything could be done according to God’s will and the glorious mission he had undertaken could be completed. Standing Committee Member Wang said in her speech that these two terms were the most meaningful, precious and happy time for her, with the most sense of mission. I hope that comrades will never forget the original intention - not only to unite, but also to unite. The Kuomintang is currently at a low point, but comrades still persist in their faith and never give up. This is the gratitude and great love for the Republic of China and the Kuomintang. We will not lose heart and break up the group. Sustainable inheritance is our responsibility, and we must abide by the founding father's will, "The revolution has not yet succeeded, and comrades still need to work hard."
