From June to August 2017, the Art Institute of Alberta held its first summer camp. With the joint efforts of Li Cihui, Molly, Teacher Wu, and Teacher Xie, the new education model that focuses on development and guidance has been well received by teachers and parents. Learning Chinese in games How to make children of different ages and language proficiency like to speak Chinese and work hard to speak Chinese? This is very difficult for teachers. Looking at the boring textbooks and a few standard Chinese sentences, are they just asking the children to repeat them again and again? No, the teacher himself can’t stand this kind of textbook, so how can the children like it? So our Chinese learning started by setting up a "Lucky Dragon" restaurant. Some of the children worked as managers, some as waiters, and some as customers. We used a week's course to let the children learn basic sentences and words such as restaurant politeness, Chinese dishes, Chinese desserts, etc. The children also quickly put the words and sentences they learned to use and began to communicate freely in the restaurant. How to add more words and continue to expand the scope of Chinese use? How boring is it to be a polite diner all the time? One day, the teacher asked the children to be "troublemakers" in the restaurant, which made the children very happy. A rude customer, see how the waiters and managers of the restaurant deal with it. When encountering rude customers, the manager and waiters themselves thought of calling the children's parents to report their children's bad behavior in the restaurant, and even called the police for help. At the same time, after the game, they also discussed why the customers were rude, what they did wrong, and how to fine and punish them. A small restaurant allows children to play different roles and maximize their Chinese language skills. The teacher has also become the most difficult troublemaker in the "Lucky Dragon" hall, causing a lot of trouble for the children. However, the children also have a lot of tricks to deal with rude customers. They also punish the teacher to perform a show, clean up the restaurant, and even go to jail. . . . . What a crazy restaurant!

Feel the music in the story. Daily vocal lessons are when children enjoy Chinese and American songs the most. The teacher told the children the stories in the songs and asked the children to use their imagination to draw the stories in the music. The same story is so different in the minds of children.

The children draw a summary of the story based on the story in the music. Experience life through handicrafts. Clay sculpture, paper cutting, origami, wearing bracelets, building houses, there are countless exciting contents in the handicraft class. The teacher asked the children to use the basic color matching and gave some children space to play freely. After completing the craft work that the teacher always wants them to do, they can make what they want according to their imagination. Take a look at their masterpieces. There is nothing you can’t imagine but nothing you can’t see.

Inheriting culture through sports “Three circles on the left, three circles on the right, neck twisting, butt twisting, go to bed early and get up early, let’s do some exercise” Aerobics and martial arts are the features of the summer camp. Children learn the basics of dance and martial arts with professional dance and martial arts teachers. The loud sound of martial arts practice often comes from the classroom. . . . . Look at how they practice horse walking for the first time!

Children who are learning kung fu. The first summer camp of the Art Institute of Alberta has ended successfully. The teachers, children, and parents are very happy and satisfied. We will meet up for the next vacation. On September 23rd, the "Mid-Autumn Festival and National Day Party" of the Art Institute of Alberta will be held at the Mesa Arts Center. This year's party has new content, and the musical will surprise you! Everyone is welcome to sign up to participate in the show! Celebrate our holidays together. More exciting courses will start in August
