The Taiwan-American Chamber of Commerce in Greater Phoenix hosted a reception to celebrate the 107th National Day and Mid-Autumn Festival of the Republic of China at the Octillo Country Club golf resort at 6pm on October 10th. Chairman Zhang Shengyi, President of the Greater Phoenix Taiwan American Chamber of Commerce, first delivered a welcome speech on behalf of the Chamber of Commerce, thanked all the guests attending the meeting, and introduced that the Chamber of Commerce has promoted the establishment of a sister city between the Chandler City Hall and former Tainan City Mayor Li Qingde, and is committed to promoting baseball diplomacy. He also witnessed Taiwan's representative in the United States, Ambassador Ko Shuotai, at the Diamondbacks against the Dodgers. The baseball game ball ceremony and the economic and trade forum were held with the participation of mainstream politicians, media organizations and Taiwanese businessmen and overseas Chinese youth to implement national diplomacy and promote the Republic of China, Taiwan, so that the mainstream society and overseas Chinese in Arizona can support Taiwan's participation in various international organizations and increase Taiwan's visibility in mainstream society, increase exchanges and friendships among Taiwanese business members, promote business opportunities, and rally overseas Chinese to support the government.
In August this year, the Taiwan American Chamber of Commerce in Dafeng City was invited to attend President Tsai Ing-wen’s overseas Chinese banquet when she passed through Los Angeles and hosted a welcome dinner for Presidential Secretary-General Chen Ju to express her determination to support the government with practical actions.
